Arthur Rouse

Senior producer/director Arthur Rouse founded the business in 1982 as Video Editing Services, which immediately expanded to include all aspects of media production. Rouse specializes in project development and management and the integration of all creative disciplines into a cohesive finished program. Known for his camera, editing and music skills, Rouse has built the business through many years of close relationships with the company’s customers – always with an eye on their ultimate objective – their story well told.

But wait – there’s more!

Rouse has created numerous long-lived programs and products. He founded the Filmmaking Certificate Program at Bluegrass Community and Technical College and is currently a member of the Kentucky Film Commission. He is executive producer of History Happens at, a project that uses music to teach American history. As an advocate for the commoditization of industrial hemp as a sustainable renewable crop, Rouse is currently the public relations director for Atalo Holdings, Inc., working to return Kentucky to its former prominence as the Hemp Capital of the World™.

In his spare time, Rouse can be found playing drums and percussion at any number of musical happenings. A lifelong pursuit of the groove landed Rouse in New York, Nashville, Tallahassee, and New Orleans, playing with the likes of Paul Worley, Kinny Landrum, Reese Wynans, Pat Buchanan, Buddy and Julie Miller, Keith Hubbard and blues great Earl King.

Rouse has a BA in Visual Art/Cinematography from Florida State University, attended the Berklee College of Music and holds an MA in Educational Technology from Pepperdine University.



Media Collaboratory President, Robert Tipton first took an interest in the art of moving images at an early age with a childhood love of stop motion animation and Universal monster movies and now brings his love of storytelling, filmmaking and graphic design to our growing family of customers and partners.

Robert came to the Media Collaboratory with a B.A. in Broadcasting and Electronic Media (with an emphasis on Film Technologies and Techniques), experience in broadcast news and cable program production and a huge repository of technical knowledge.

He brings unique aesthetic sensibilities and a respect for a customer’s objectives, utilizing a skill set that runs the gamut from copy writing, quality camera work, editing and a specialty in motion graphics.

As a senior producer, Robert is a road warrior and has run the gamut of project development and management through training, marketing, non-profit, corporate communications and broadcast documentary production – from script to screen. He approaches each and every project passionately and with the willingness to immerse himself fully into a client’s culture.

When Robert’s not working on your next project, he spends his free time with his two cats, running long distances, working on creative graphic design ventures with his lovely girlfriend, fumbling around with photography, and collecting vinyl records and all things nerdy. He also obsessively extols the virtues of Boston sports much to the chagrin and disdain of his peers. If he starts ranting about the 2004 ALCS or 2002 Snow Bowl, just humor him.


Susan Cobb

Vice President of Operations, Susan Cobb spent more than 20 years in the hospitality industry so you can expect to be treated like royalty. Born and raised in Washington D.C., she loves movies, bowling and the outdoors. She’s also great with workflow management, quality control and communication. Susan will take care of you from script to screen, throughout all of your projects.




Matt Webb

Matt Webb, Vice President of Production, has always preferred to look at life through a lens. He has a strong background in video production, filming and editing Emmy Award winning television shows and traveling the globe; shooting in over five different countries. He graduated from Campbellsville University in 2009 with a B.S. in Mass Communications and also studied at the Los Angeles Film Studies Center.

After studying film in Hollywood, Matt wanted to come back and share his talents with the Bluegrass. Since graduating, Matt has worn many hats as Producer, Director, Editor, and Director of Photography for a myriad of clientele, ranging from film and broadcast to corporate and commercial advertising. He puts the same pride and passion into every project whether it be a large corporation or the local shop next door. In his spare time, Matt enjoys photography, the great outdoors, his Xbox One, a good baseball game, some local brew, and long walks on the beach. Although his passion lies in the visual arts, Matt has always considered giving it all up to become a handsome billionaire.
