Gray, Inc.

2019 marked the 60th anniversary of Gray Construction, and Gray, Inc. wanted to commemorate this milestone with a special video to not only kickstart its Annual Meeting but also serve as a succinct and evocative historical/cultural video to be featured on its new website.

Media Collaboratory has worked with Gray, Inc./Gray Construction for nearly half of its 60 years, so this longstanding relationship as well as MC’s extensive library of Gray historical content proved to be a successful match in making this story come to life. In conjunction with Gray’s marketing team, Media Collaboratory produced the 60th anniversary video by helping design the script and story, filming select interviews with Gray family members and employees past and present and marrying these elements with archived photography and video, emotive voice-over narration, carefully designed typography and motion graphics, and a music score that simultaneously evoked feelings of a respective time period while remaining universally current.

The video launched to applause upon its initial premiere at Annual Meeting 2019 and then released to the broader public shortly after.
